The processing of the tea

From late May to early July, during the Second Flush season, the tippy tea leaves with golden buds are plucked, rolled, and naturally oxidized, keeping the whole leaves intact. This process gives the tea a complex flavor with aromatic nuances.

Assam, in the lush plains of northeastern India, is one of the world's top regions for high-quality tea. Since the 19th century, the fertile Brahmaputra Valley has been renowned for its black tea production.
