This full-bodied black tea is a true reflection of its Assam origins, a region celebrated for its strong black teas. The infusion produces an amber cup with an array of complex, fruity notes.

The preparation

Black teas are best brewed with hot water to bring out the malty notes of the fully oxidized leaves. You can enjoy them with milk and sugar as a breakfast or afternoon tea, or simply pure.

The processing

From late May to early July, during the Second Flush season, the tippy tea leaves with golden buds are plucked, rolled, and naturally oxidized, keeping the whole leaves intact. This process gives the tea a complex flavor with aromatic nuances.
